CINCINNATI, OHIO, June 30, 2025: The Entrepreneurs’ Organization of Cincinnati proudly announces Shanna Novosel, owner of the regional Biggby Coffee franchise, as its incoming chapter president for the 2025–2026 year. This marks the second time in three years that a woman has taken the helm of the Cincinnati chapter, signaling a powerful surge in women claiming space at the forefront of business leadership and ownership nationwide.
Novosel’s appointment highlights both her impressive leadership journey and the growing presence of women in the entrepreneurial world:
Women in Entrepreneurship by the Numbers:
39.1 percent of all U.S. businesses are now women-owned, employing 12.2 million people and generating $2.7 trillion in revenue.
Between 2019 and 2023, women-owned businesses grew at nearly double the rate of those owned by men.
In 2024, 49 percent of all new businesses were started by women, up from just 29 percent in 2019.
“It’s an honor to serve as president at such an energizing time for women in entrepreneurship,” Novosel said. “I look forward to continuing EO Cincinnati’s legacy of bold leadership, innovation and collaboration.”
